About
A small firm, on purpose.
We built HoCo Consulting in beautiful and sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. The Gulf is on one side, Tampa Bay is on the other, and the Sunshine Skyway in our hero photo is a marvel of engineering that keeps us inspired. It’s a wonderful spot and it taught us a few things about pace.
We are practitioners first, consultants second. The work we take on is the work we’d do for ourselves: reliability that holds, platforms that scale without rewrites, observability that actually helps the engineer carrying the pager. Some clients hire us to work alongside their engineering team. Some smaller clients hire us to be the engineering team for a season. Either is fine, and the difference matters less than caring about the outcome.
We stay small, on purpose. HoCo Consulting exists to keep doing work we’re proud of, with people we want to spend our days with. If that fits what you need, we’d love to talk.

Tiffany Hohman
Chief Executive Officer
Tiffany leads HoCo Consulting and somehow makes it look easy. She's a dedicated lifelong learner and educator who holds a multitude of degrees, including a Masters in Human Resource Management that quietly shapes how we hire, how we treat our people, and how we show up for clients. She's a mother of three, working CEO, and a steady reminder for the women on our team and in our orbit that ambition and family can absolutely live in the same life. We are so lucky to have her.

Principal Engineer
Collin started where the cables actually plug in. Almost fifteen years later he's grown from a system engineer to designing public clouds for Fortune 500s and serving as an SRE across HIPAA-regulated platforms with millions of users. He's the one you call when observability is a black hole or your on-call rotation is grinding people down. Off the clock he builds drag cars, including a hand-built 8-second Mustang he races in drag-and-drive events. Same instinct: tune the system until it performs under pressure.
